Karl Fuller

Born in Colchester on 25 September 1971, Karl was transferred to Clacton Hospital very quickly in order to become an authentic supporter of his local club later on in life.

An Ipswich Town fan of more than thirty years, that started in August 1978, Karl later went through twelve successive years without missing a home game in a period that saw him join the Media Committee of the Supporters Club and provide player interviews for the fanzine Those Were The Days.

He also wrote a supporters column in the Colchester Evening Gazette. Karl then wrote a column from 2002 in the Clacton Town Matchday Programme before becoming Editor early in 2004. At the end of the 2010/11 season - Karl's last as Editor - a Programme of the Year award was won for the seventh consecutive season. The Fuller Flavour title originated in the column that Karl wrote which later also became the title of Clacton Town's independent website before evolving into the official website that still thrives today.

The Fuller Flavour was also a full-page non-league column in the Green 'Un, an Ipswich based local football paper, whilst columns were also later written for the Non-League Newspaper and Non-League 24 website.

Karl is currently a weekly Columnist for the Ipswich Star - Britain's Regional Newspaper of the Year as well as being a Payments Supervisor in the NHS were he has been employed for over twenty-three years.
