Nina Bhadreshwar

Nina Bhadreshwar, born in Ipswich, England, was the British editor and publisher of The Real State magazine, an international underground arts and music magazine first established in 1992. She sold her first comedy feature film in 1995 and since then has written (under various names) editorial, three novels, two poetry anthologies, biographies and film scripts in both Los Angeles and the UK, interviewing and reviewing countless artists, activists and unusual people for the past twenty years. She began a penpal correspondence with Tupac Shakur from 1993 and during her years at Death Row Records while he was still in jail. Nina worked at the record company until June 1996 as well as performing stand-up comedy. She has been a teacher in England and Scotland and also a writer for British arts, music and culture magazine, Clash. She now writes, teaches accelerated Creative Education to foster youth and paints surreal apocalyptic fairytales in Los Angeles. Her crime fiction debut will be published by Harper Collins in 2025.
