Learned in 1940 from father's gift of a Will Lindhorst book. Owner of marketing research company. Semi-pro magician since 1959. Specialties: rope and impromptu magic. Also lecturer and MC. Assistant Editor The Linking Ring 1979-1992, Executive Editor 1992-2007.

Wrote The Magic of Matt Schulien (1959), The Ring and Rope Book (1975), Jim Ryan Close-Up (4 vols, 1980-81), Trevor Lewis Close-Up (1981), etc. Editor and publisher of the Eugene Burger booklets. Regular contributor to Linking Ring since 1977, including editor of its "Hocus Pocus Parade" 1987-1992. Articles in MUM.
