Rebecca Rossi
Rebecca Rossi is a 24 year old first-time author from Melbourne, Victoria who works in Executive Education.
She is passionate about reading, writing and all things Astrology. During her teenage years, she was part of a writing group called The Inkspotters where she met devoted mentor and friend Eve Martyn, author of Killer McKenzie and writer of numerous plays for local theatre companies. Her and Eve worked together to bring Astrology Pond to life and in 2011 when Eve passed away, Rebecca made it her ultimate goal to finish the story and dedicate it to the woman who believed in the concept from the very beginning.
In 2007, she graduated from Sunbury College with Honours in History and Drama. In 2012, she graduated after four years of study with a Bachelor of Arts, Major in History, Minor in Philosophy and a Graduate Diploma in Museum Studies.
Her inspiration comes from her favourite authors Anne Rice and Cate Tiernan who are both originally from New Orleans; a destination Rebecca is dying to travel to in the near future. Her genre of choice is classic literature and fantasy fiction for teenagers which she believes allows readers to utilise their wild imaginations and discover worlds beyond the norm.
