First interested in magic in 1950. Principal of Mathematics and Physics in Passau, West Germany. Amateur close-up, card, and mental magician. Pet effect: topological effects with jumbo cards. Invented Three Card Catch. Frequent competitor and prize winner, including 1975 MZvD 3rd prize in closeup, 1978 MZvD 2nd prize for invention, 1982 MZvD Writer of the Year, and 1983 Baden-Baden 3rd prize in closeup.
Wrote Falsch-Zähl-Methoden (1972), Gilbreath Prinzipien (1982), Phantomwürfel (1982), Riesen-karten (3 parts, 1983, 1984, 1986).
