Robert C. Schenck
(October 4, 1809 – March 23, 1890)
Robert Cumming Schenck was a Union Army general in the American Civil War, and an American diplomatic representative to Brazil and the United Kingdom. He served two separate multi-term stints in the U.S. House of Representatives. He authored the first treatise exclusively devoted to draw poker.
