Roddy J. Dryer
Writer, Trucker, and American
While I make my living as a Professional Truck Driver (18 wheels, loud horns, and in your way on the road quite a bit but bringing your stuff to market), should you follow me around a tight right-hand turn, please be patient. I'm sure to find the proper gear eventually.
I have also been writing for quite some time. I don't even know how long. I have spent many years distancing myself from the knuckle-dragging beast often known as humanity. I write from that Point of View.
I live in the shimmering metropolis of Groveland, FL, where I spend as much time as I can with my wonderful and often crazy family. My wife, Mary, and I have kids and grandkids, and harbor so many hopes and fears.
I am a simple, everyday, normal guy who drives a pickup, lives in a rickety double-wide, and has known little more than blue-collar and camouflage BDU's. But I was bitten by this writing bug, so here I am.
