After high school, I attended a local community college and immersed myself in everything related to the subject of English. My love for literature opened my mind to philosophy and world religions and in 1998, I became an ordained minister. Studying principles and teachings of faith, I became intrigued with healing both the physical and the emotional body. This intrigue introduced me to Reiki where I continued my studies and received my mastership in this incredible healing modality. Still fascinated by western philosophy, yoga found its way to me. Thoroughly enjoying this practice on a emotional, physical and spiritual level, I brought my appreciation for this restorative movement to another height and became a certified Integral Yoga Instructor. In 2001, I received an added certification in Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga. Amid these achievements, I married my best-friend and we began our family.
