Sheldon A. Chrysler
Born in Denver, Colorado along with my late Identical Twin brother, (Barry), we'd shared similar experiences. As a child, I'd grown up in West Denver, in a lower class and mixed neighborhood. My father was a welder, and mother, a homemaker.
As far back as I can remember, I was always interested in mechanical devices, electronic devices, and visual art. I was very deficient in most all of my subjects in school. My twin brother the same way. In junior high and senior high school, all I wanted to be was an artist. Art seem to come a little easier to me. After graduation from high school, I attended classes in machine shop at a local trade school here. Unfortunately for me, my deficiency in math, held me back from doing anything that involves math.
I worked as an apprentice signpainter and artist, but found, I wasn't able to make a living at it. I'd joined the military along with my late twin brother, to fulfill my military obligation. Returning from military service, I had an opportunity to go to college using the GI Bill. I'd began to take courses in the science and math curriculum. However, I'd failed several math courses.
I'd gone to night school, taking math classes in an effort to overcome my math deficiency. I'd resumed taking classes in math in college. Though I wasn't setting the world on fire, I managed to pass all my math classes. In fact, I'd taken several math classes, that afforded me to declare mathematics as a math minor.
I'd continued to take other science classes chemistry, electronics, metallurgy, etc. I'd graduated from college with a degree in mechanical design and minor in mathematics.
Jobs were hard to come by after I'd graduated from college. My late twin brother, (Barry) was involved in aviation, and he'd convinced me to take classes in aviation electronics, to obtain my aviation electronic licenses.
I'd worked for several municipalities as a two-way radio technician for police, fire, and public safety agencies. I soon opened up my own aviation radio repair facility here. While at the same time, I was asked to teach electronics at various education institutions here.
I'm very open to questions about my books, or questions about my late twin brother and/or me. Please contact me at 303 366-3281 and speakbeakb@msn.com.
