Tracy Avril MacMillan
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Tracy was always passionate about creative writing and art from as early as she can remember. These skills were further developed throughout her education graduating with a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design and an Advanced Diploma in Fashion Design, before continuing her professional career as a Freelance Design Consultant.
The author wrote this book at the tender age of 14, when she herself was just a young adolescent. She typed it and illustrated it by hand herself, and compiled the pages with a stapler, producing a handmade book. Tracy would sit her toddler nephew on her knee and read this story to him over and over again at bedtime which he enjoyed so much.
The book wasn’t discovered again until recently whilst moving home. After her nephew recounted how much he had loved this book as a child (now a young adult himself), she decided to publish, thus sharing this unique and joyful tale with the world.
