Brian Richards
Brian Richards is a full-time professional magician based in Minneapolis, MN. Brian has been performing for over 30 years and specializes in assembly programs for elementary schools and special family events. For the past 11 years, Brian has been a full time educational entertainer and part time Firefighter (I know, I know it's an odd combination).
Brian's background came from his years growing up in Chicago and working his first gig at Mr. C's Magic Lounge in Berwyn, Ill. Brian had the opportunity of watching and learning from some great close-up magicians. During this time, Brian was also introduced to the writings of Eugene Burger and became fascinated in the process of artistic growth and creativity.
About 15 years ago Brian wrote the workbook Tapping Into Your Creative Flow and placed it in his bookcase. If it wasn't for Chris Wasshuber and Lybrary.com that's where it would have stayed. Now it has been pulled down from the shelf, the dust blown off and revised so the content is more up to date and applicable. Creativity is a subject that is rarely discussed in the magic scene and this book is written to get people thinking.
