Edward G. Stoddard was an American memory expert, mentalist, and advertising executive. He served as president of Doubleday Book Shops until his retirement in the 1980s.

Specialized in mental magic. Invented Mental Miracle (1950), Perfected Sealed Message Reading (1951), Intuition (1951), the "Brainstorm Book Test", and The Seventh Sense (1952). Trick in Hugard's Magic Monthly (1950). Wrote The First Book of Magic (1953, 69pp).
