Pro since around age 30 working fairs and carnivals. Ghosted the early Vernon booklets, including The Dai W. Vernon Super Card Subtleties (1932). Member of the "Secret Six". Voted into the New York "Inner Circle" by 1940. Actual author of Celestial Agent (1944, 44pp), which was stolen by Charles J. Maly and published by Laurie Ireland under Maly's name.
