Joseph Francis Rinn was an American magician and skeptic of paranormal phenomena.

Owner of a fruit and produce market in New York City when he met Houdini in 1889, showing him some new tricks. Amateur magician and psychic investigator, often collaborating with Houdini in the early 1920s. Investigated Eusapia Palladino (1910), John Slater (1921), etc. He was friends with another debunker of spiritualism the magician John Mulholland. Authored mystery magic play Zeno, which played in New York City 1923-25. Memoir is Sixty Years of Psychical Research (1950, 618pp).
