Juan Tamariz

Juan Tamariz (born as Juan Tamariz-Martel Negrón) is a Spanish magician, inventor, lecturer, and author.
Tamariz is not only a gifted card magician but also an artist who thinks through the art of magic intellectually. His philosophies are appreciated by his peers worldwide. Juan Tamariz is co-founder of the "Escuela Magica de Madrid" (1971) and author of numerous specialized books. In Spain he published the school of magic "El Mundo Mágico de Tamariz" consisting of several episodes (1991).
Prizes, honors and awards: 1970 FISM World Championship in Amsterdam: 2nd place in close-up magic, together with Juan Anton as "Los Mancos". 1973 FISM World Championship in Paris: 1st place in card magic
