Nico Heinrich was born and raised in Lübeck, Germany. When he was only 6 years old, Nico discovered his passion for magic. He started out doing tricks with rope, cards and balls. Today he still uses some balls to do his art – but that's a different story. Over time he became more interested in mentalism and read every single book on the subject he could obtain. He fell in love with the idea of doing a performance with no props and no gimmicks – he truly hates gimmicks and avoids them wherever he can. His work is best characterized as simple, bold, direct, sometimes deep and poetic, but still modern and clean. It was shaped a lot by the work of Jerome Finley, Kenton Knepper and his mentors Thomas Heine and Rainer Mees (ParaLabs).
