I am a hobbyist magician. I saw a friend doing some of the routine at a magic gathering with friends and it was so much fun to watch I just had to learn it. So, I found an internet search led me here. The teaching is great. It's comprehensive and easily reviewable. I love how it's taught in beats that make it like learning a piece of music. There's history brought into the instruction as well and that's an appreciated. It adds a human touch to a time I was not privy to, due to my age. While I gravitate more to walk-around magic, this gives me something work with when I'm at a table, so I'd use it more informally. That being said, it's powerful and leaves an impression. You can look up Slydini doing this and see the reactions he gets. It's incredible stuff.
I don't know that I can think of anything negative. It's taught, as explained by Mr. Ferri, as he was taught by Slydini himself. You can't get much closer to the source. If you have any interest in magic with coins, it's worth learning and this video is fantastic.

There is no finer teacher of the magic of Slydini, then D. Angelo Ferri. He learned directly from the master over an eight-year course of intensive study. He understood Slydini and includes every subtlety, psychology, and minutia as he was taught. Be prepared for a fabulous lesson. If you are interested in learning the magic of Slydini, D. Angelo Ferri has many more excellent lessons available. I make sure to have them all! I highly recommend that you do, too.

The Helicopter Card taught by D. Angelo Ferri, IMO is the BEST technical card trick ever! Mr Ferri is a great teacher and goes into a deliberate and careful study of this challenging effect but once mastered will have a special trick that will amuse and confuse all that witness it. Highest Recommendation!

I read the Fulves Slydini book as a teenager, which had an enormous effect on me. This book spells out much of the ideas I absorbed then but fleshes them out. The book is a wonderful window on "lessons from Slydini" by someone who has thought about those lessons a lot.
