Rebirth RevelationThere are very few effects around on the theme of rebirth. And this is one of the best I came across. I always start this routine by asking how many of the audience members believe in the concept of rebirth. Always several hands go up. I specifically tell them that this experiment is for them. The final impact on them after the routine is so very satisfying. This routine is now part of my bizarre set.

Propless Name and Place in 45 Seconds

Propless Name and Place in 45 SecondsIt is very interesting when an idea can polarize opinions to both extremes. It indicates that the idea has merit, imo. So my curiosity made me pick this up. I like the simple brilliance of the core principle. The routine has a well designed structure and flows smoothly. Personally, I would like to use a couple of my business cards instead of keeping it purely propless. I would also prefer to use two participants - one for name and another for place. The link up to the Vampire Diaries web series is a nice touch. I took this for a test run briefly and I am happy with the results. This is worthy of my time and money, imo.

Secrets of a Psychic Reader

Secrets of a Psychic ReaderThis was an interesting read. Somewhat like a fictional novel. I read it in about a couple of hours. But that's it. As a student of the esoteric arts, the core learning for me was not much. A little gem here and there. More interesting than it was informative. Nothing in terms of actual tools of the trade. And a lot of general advice. The list of books for further reading at the end of the manuscript is a good one. I find Richard Webster to be a far better resource.
