"A nice combination of deceptive principles. The psychology and linguistic approaches help form a solid routine that I would use!" - Pablo Amira
This is a powerful three phase chair routine that involves the whole audience as well as three participants who are chosen to take a seat! Two different routines are provided.
Routine 1:
Three participants each choose a colored paper, ESP design card, and one of three numbered chairs. (No Forces). Each person then opens their colored paper to find that their freely chosen ESP design is on their freely chosen paper! It is then revealed that each chair has a color marker on it that matches the colored paper of the person who sat there.
Routine 2:
Three participants each choose a colored envelope, ESP design, and one of three numbered chairs. Each person then opens their envelopes to reveal a design that matches their chosen ESP design. It is then revealed that each chair has a colored marker on it that matches the colored envelope of the person who sat there.
Routine number one takes a little more effort and investment but is very powerful. Routine number two is much simpler to perform but is almost as powerful. These routines are layered with linguistic deception and psychological nuances that create a memorable and very deceptive effect. The themes that can be applied to this routine are many; Fate, Choice, color influence, verbal influence, etc…
