ROYAL RUMPUS: 5 spectators choose an envelope each from a pile of fifty. They each select one of five cards in front of them - there are 4 kings and one queen. These go into their envelopes and are shuffled whilst the performer's back is turned. The performer then holds each envelope against his forehead, and he correctly finds the envelope holding the Queen of Hearts. The envelopes are genuine. No markings on them, and spectators select the ones they want. Only five cards are used, each with a similar back design. The performer doesn't look at the sealed envelopes when picking them up. No sleights are involved.
THE CHIPS ARE DOWN: 6 different coloured chips are placed on the table -a spectator freely discards any five whilst the performer turns away - by placing them into a bag. The remaining one is the selected chip - this is shown and then placed into the bag, and all mixed together. The performer then turns around and removes the chips one at a time - and reveals which one the spectator selected. All six chips are identical except for their colours. The chips can be examined and handled by spectators. No Flat Changing Bag is involved - just an ordinary cloth bag is used. Nothing added or taken away from the chips. Remember, the performer turns his back on the spectator and audience and doesn't interfere with the chips.
