Ben Howard

Ben Howard is a professional Magician living and working in the UK. At the age of 7, Ben became inspired by a Magic set from the world famous Hamleys store in London. Since then, Ben has performed for the likes of David Blaine, and David Beckham, as well as working for companies such as Alton Towers, McDonalds and Experian to name but a few.

Ben started to create his own magic effect in his teen years to stand out from other magicians and performers. After much encouragement and feedback from his peers, Ben has released several highly praised effects.

This is a 'cards through case' effect, but completely different than older versions. This effect takes a classic stage illusion and puts it in the spectator's hands.

Four random cards are selected by the spectator. The four cards are placed inside a card case and given to the spectator to hold at their fingertips.

Three of the four cards are removed, leaving the final card inside of the card case. The remaining three cards are then pushed through the side of the card case and the selected card.

This can be viewed from all angles whilst the spectator is holding the case.

Effect:

This is not a card trick, it's a trick with cards.

The spectator freely selects, signs and returns the card from a shuffled deck. The illusionist explains that card tricks have become too complicated, and he wants to keep it simple and use just the selected card. The magician picks up the card case, still holding the deck, and shows the card case at all sides and completely empty.
