Learned magic in 1955 from newstand magic book and meeting an old-time pro. Pro stand-up comedy magician since 1961. Uses "Gordon Miller" as stage and pen name since 1976.

Editor for Abbott's since 1968 (their catalogs #22 and #23 and some 14 books), including Abbott's Anthology of Card Magic (3 vols, 1968; rev 1989). Editor of New Tops 1980-?. 1981 Crandall Trophy.
