Jim Cellini
(Nashua, New Hampshire: 6th September 1940 – 23rd November 2009)
Stage name of Richard Timothy Sullivan. He grew up in an orphanage where he first saw a magician which fascinated him. Initially he studied stage magic and was influenced by Cardini, Malini, Silent Mora und Slydini. When he met Johnny Fox he started to get interested in street magic. In the 70s he developed his own brand of street magic and became a pro street magician in San Francisco (late 1970s-early 80s), New Orleans, New York City (1981), and Europe. He would spend the remaining part of his life in Switzerland. Worked in renaissance garb with gibecière and later with top hat and suit.
