John Ramsay

Inspired by and learned from his mother who taught him a couple of simple tricks at age 7. Grocery store owner. Celebrated amateur close-up magician. British Ring Past President. 1946 Amsterdam International Magic Congress 2nd prize; 1947 Paris International Magic Congress 2nd prize in manipulation; 1949 FISM 2nd prize in manipulation, 1950 FISM 1st prize in close-up. Mentor of Andrew Galloway.
