While it was written years ago, many of the methods and effects are still interesting and effective - and well taught. Well worth the price - items are solid - and there's room for personalization. All sorts of magic ... All sorts of history. One of my favorite books.

Very little of use here ... Much of it is no longer relevant or accurate.
From the content list I thought methods might be offered ... Instead, this is essentially a few pages of outdated notes. Overpriced as a historical item, and largely ineffective as notes on useful methods/effects. Sadly, I recommend you look elsewhere.

NOT useful in real life. On video is the only way this is at all interesting. Substantial effort for a non-effect. In real life, all is clearly visible.

One of my favorite books in any genre !!! I got my paperback copy in the 1970's and this ebook is my reading copy that I can read anytime I have my tablet. Solid magic ... Cards, rope, coins, mentalism - actual illusions - and for the old timers there are catalog samples from years ago, as well as historical entries on magic and magicians. This is the book I go to as a "feel good" read !!!

Classic magic ... A fun historical read. Well presented as an ebook at a cost that is incredibly low. There is stuff here that is dated ... But also material that may be updated. Well worth the price.

A "classic" with tips and ideas that may save a performance from failure. I actually purchased the hardcopy many years ago and wanted the PDF version for easy access. Worth more than the purchase price after the info saves you just once !!! Add to that, sleights/forces/controls are taught which may be used in multiple effects. If you use cards, this will be of benefit.

Lots of info - Magical effects: A wide variety with some great ideas which can be utilized in multiple genres (cards, coins, close-up, parlor) - Performance and theory: solid discussion and suggestions plus dealing with many different types of situations.
Major value here - I definitely feel like I got "bang for my buck" !!! (I've been into magic for over 50 years and a serious hobbyist for over 30).
Theory, performance tips, actual magic effects - I will re-read this one.
Very pleased with this purchase.

Sneaky ... yes. Pricey ... yes. Practical ... not for me. Many factors must be just right ... Can't give details, but definitely one of those items that can be done only some of the time. There are better ways to accomplish the effect. Have purchased other items by this author and been satisfied, but not this time. He is selling his work as individual purchases ... Would have been much better as a collection in a longer book/video.
