Timo Dante
Timo Dante was born a son of a carney on August 28, 1980 in Rhede near Bocholt (Germany).
Being part of a real family business he travelled through Europe working fun fairs, marksmen's festivals, folk and street festivals. He learned handling and entertaining audiences by birth.
Timo Dante says: "I love leading people away from their everyday life, bright-eyed children enjoying candy floss and merry-go-rounds; laughing parents stepping out of the ghost train. This is a beautiful feeling just as the experience of magic. A child is astonished when a red silk vanishes into thin air. Father doesn't have a clue about how the lady was divided, and mother is amazed by what the performer reads in her mind. This is the miracle of entertainment."
Almost weekly, Timo Dante travelled to different cities and attended different schools. The past years, Timo spent at a boarding-school exclusively for boys. Timo started doing magic at the age of 12, originally starting out with stage illusions giving him the large knowledge of these big props he possesses today. Later, he also attended to parlor magic, mentalism and childrens' magic. Today, 17 years later, Timo Dante has such a profound knowledge of the magic arts that he shares it at lectures or as a magic consultant. Timo Dante also designs illusions for the illusion manufacturer Showdesign. New inventions and old illusions with a new twist all derive from Timo Dante's imagination.
