Five fantastic mentalism routines from Annemann's creative mind.
The Book Test: Use any book or magazine and do not touch it throughout the entire test.
The Mentalist's Card Staggerer: A pack of cards is shown and shuffled. The spectator deals a row of five cards face down. Any one of these he looks at while your back is turned. The five cards only are picked up by you and placed into an empty pocket. One at a time, the cards are drawn forth openly from your pocket until but one remains. This one the spectator removes himself from the pocket and finds it to be his own card. Everything can be examined as there is nothing suspicious to find.
The Psychic Writing: You show two blank cards from both sides, number each of the four sides, and mysteriously, the spectator's name (or any other name or message of your choosing) appears on one card. Does not use a swami gimmick or additional card. Nothing is secretly stolen or introduced. You only use two cards.
Instantaneous Card Memory: Create the impression that you can memorize half the deck. This version is set up in minutes and does not require mnemonics, lists, or secret prompters.
"Phantasma" — A Mental Card Feat: A thought-of-card vanishes from a sealed envelope and reappears in an impossible location.
