Dieversion uses a single ungimmicked die to perform several fantastic effects. Multiple versions of a simple ranging force are used in a unique and novel manner to create impossible seeming outcomes.
In the routines, you apparently use your "Pollyanna Personality" to reveal an impossible piece of information being thought of by the participant. And as for the meaning of the word Pollyanna, try googling it and you will see that it has an interesting juicy meaning.
The following 6 routines are explained.
- Wax Novelist
- Conjured Tomb
- Eight of Hearts
- Red Earth
- Friday on Jupiter
- Dieversion ACAAN
METHOD : The basic principle that is used here is very flexible and can be used in many other routines and contexts in different ways. This is so easy that you can start performing as soon as you read the instructions.
VENUES : Dieversion can be performed face to face in close-up, parlor, street or stage situations or even can be easily adapted to be performed over a voice phone call or on a virtual show.
FEATURES : There are no sleights, no preshow, no stooges or instant stooges. No threads or magnets or electronics are involved. There is no DIY or arts n crafts work involved for the dice. There are no secret writings, no one aheads, no memorization. There are no peeks or any kind of tearing involved, no switching and nothing is spoken or written down by the participant. All you need to perform this is the performer, participant and a single ordinary die.
