Grand Slam is the ultimate closing routine for your card magic act. It's a hard-to-beat routine that will allow you to end your act with a bang!
Read what Aldo himself says in the preface:
The routine presented in this booklet...can make you famous as a great manipulator. The routine belongs to that genre of effects that reinforce in the minds of spectators that the magician has complete control over the cards. It is a closing routine in that you will hardly find another one with a greater impact than this... Prepare your deck, because I am convinced that once you learn it, you will never abandon it!
The effect is as follows:
The 4 Aces are left on the table. One is chosen, and the remaining three are placed in the case. One after the other, the performer produces all the cards of the same suit as the chosen ace in numerical order from two to ten, each in a different way, in a crescendo of surprises. The face cards of the same suit (Jack, Queen, and King) are incredibly found in the case instead of the aces. Then the aces appear one on each of the three piles into which the deck has been divided.
Grand Finale: Now, each pile is laid face up on the table, and all the cards are divided in numerical order from ace to king and by suit under each corresponding ace. The deck is thus divided into the four suits following the indicator aces. A tremendous sight that is sure to trigger a big final applause!
Points to consider:
- During the routine, the cards are continuously cut and shuffled, making the ending totally unexpected.
- No difficult manipulations. As usual, Aldo manages to achieve incredible effects with just a few standard moves.
- Complete with clear illustrated instructions and descriptions of the necessary "moves."
