Thanks to his lucky number and his lucky card, the performer finds a chosen card and predicts another.

EFFECT:

The performer displays an envelope containing his lucky number and his lucky card. He then invites two spectators to find their own.

To begin, the performer deals a regular deck into two uneven piles. Spec 1 randomly takes eight cards from the tops of the two piles. Spec 2 freely chooses four of them and leaves the rest to Spec 1. They each add the values of their cards to obtain their lucky number.

Next, Spec 1 deals the deck to his number, remembers the card at that position (his lucky card), and loses it back into the deck. Spec 2 does the same, but leaves his lucky card face up into the deck.

The performer now removes a special card from the envelope, which has the number 19 written on one side. He picks up the deck and deals nineteen cards - the last card dealt is Spec 1's selection. He then spreads the deck to reveal Spec 2's selection and turns over the special card to show his lucky card printed on the other side. It perfectly matches Spec 2's selection.

Bonus Ending: The performer cuts the deck and spreads it on the table. He removes each spectator's card along with the card directly beneath it - the two cards beneath are their exact mates.

Effortless. No duplicate card. No multiple outs.
