An original matching game the performer can never lose, thanks to his sixth sense.
The performer claims to possess a sixth sense and says that this demonstration will prove its existence.
First, he removes a set of twelve playing cards from an envelope. Six of them display the name of a sense - sight, smell, hearing, taste, touch, and E.S.P. - while the other six depict these senses with images: an eye, a nose, an ear, a mouth, a hand, and a brain.
Then, following the performer's instructions, the spectator shuffles the cards as many times as he likes. Once he is finished, the performer spreads the cards face down on the table and randomly selects six for himself. If he wishes, the spectator may switch his cards with the performer's.
Next, both participants deal their cards face down in a row in front of them. The spectator selects one card from his row and moves it forward. The performer follows suit and places his card atop the spectator's. They continue until six pairs are formed.
Finally, the spectator chooses a number between 1 and 6 (inclusive), and the corresponding pair is given to him. The performer does the same, taking a pair for himself, and the remaining pairs are returned to the envelope.
The rules are as follows: if the spectator's pair matches, or if the performer's pair does not match, the spectator wins the performer's wallet. The performer keeps his wallet only if his pair matches.
When the spectator checks his cards, the pair does not match. The performer reveals his own cards - an exact match. Against all odds, he keeps his wallet - thanks to his sixth sense.
The cards are ordinary and may be examined. No peeking. No marking system. No sleight.
