Tarot Magic is an ebook about ... you guessed it, magic with tarot cards. (Several effects use marked tarot cards.)

Matteo Filippini, Italian musician and mystery artist, provides his view about it. Between the pages you will find suggestions, hints and tips to include this magical tool in your performances. The second part of the ebook features several routines with a tarot pack from Matt and a bunch of friends. Whether you are a magician, a mentalist/mindreader, a bizarre magick performer, you will find something for you.

"Tarot Magic, a collection of routines and ideas using Major Arcana Tarot cards.

This ebook has not been produced with the intention to be the ultimate work on Magic and Mentalism with Tarot cards. It is not!

It has been conceived with the purpose to share with the reader some little ideas, thoughts and routines for the benefit of the mystery performer. I would be so happy to know that you (being a magician, a tarot or cold reader, a mind reader or some other strange mystery animal) will use at least one of the items contained herein.

Why to use only the 22 triumphs cards?

Despite I know that the purists of the Tarot reading won't agree with me, I personally only use the major arcana in my work as I consider them to be the most symbolic, arcane and mysterious cards of the deck, even to the eyes of the lay people - they already know cards like the Moon, the Devil or the Death, after seeing them in some movie. Also I bring with me a tool which is largely practical, being only 22 cards and not a full 78 cards tarot deck! And you know how much valuable is the pocket space for every pro!

And I really think that with only major arcana you can, not only do some cool magic routines, but also use them proficiently to give some serious reading!

I also know that the same purists don't like to put some trickery into their reading. Yeah, different points of view. I personally believe that if you implement some "light" magic effect into the context of a reading, it can enhance the whole process a lot. We will talk again about it later.

This eBook was given to me as a gift by another mystery performer.

This eBook is aimed at doing mentalism, readings & bizarre magick with tarot cards. To be honest with you, I've had this eBook for a while now. I think I got it right around the time I purchased Scott Creasey's book on tarot effects "22". So, I was still working through the effects in that book but in the last few weeks, I remembered that I have this eBook in my files.

First, I really like that the tarot effects in this PDF are for the most part very easy to do. If you have a basic working knowledge of playing card magic, some of these effects will be familiar to you.

So, let me go over some of the effects that I really like here. BTW, all of the effects in the eBook are performed with the 22 major arcana cards (if you don't know what those are he talks about that in the eBook too).

Gemini Reading based on Karl Fulves Gemini Twins but done with tarot cards & 2 business cards and using two spectators / I'll give this 4 stars.

Prophesy - This is a very cool prediction effect done with a business card and the 22 majors. This is a one-on-one effect that I really like / 5 stars.

There are two pendulum effects in the PDF one uses marked tarot cards and the other doesn't.

The effect "The Magic of the Pendulum" uses two spectators and is based on a Juan Tamariz effect is going to be my favorite tarot & pendulum routine - it's easy to do so you can focus on your presentation. I've only done this twice over the last few weeks, but I can tell it's something I am going to use a lot. The method is bulletproof and very clever. 5 stars. It doesn't require marked tarots.

Another effect I really like is "Incredible Clairvoyance" is a three-phase effect that can be performed on stage or on a platform. It does require some memory work but, in my opinion, this can be the hit of your show. You can even do it blindfolded (see 13 Steps). 5 stars.

These four effects in my opinion are worth the price of the eBook - there are other effects in there as well. Mr. Filippini's eBook does contain a few errors like spelling, but this is really no big deal.

I'd recommend the eBook to any mentalist or bizarre magician or even someone who wants to add a little spice to their readings. Overall, this eBook delivered exactly what I am looking for.

I happen to be very impressed with this material on Tarot cards.

First of all the book has all sorts of valuable information about aging Tarot cards and extensive notes on other EXTREMELY VALUABLE TAROT CARD BOOKS AND COLD READING.

As far as I'm concerned if you at least try to get the material listed on Tarot Cards and cold reading along with Bascom Jones Magick Manuscript and Lee Earle's Syzygy Manuscript. Some of these may be a bit hard to get your hands on but well worth it if you can.

The only thing I really didn't care about is using marked Tarot cards for a lot of the effects. However, having said that there are some easy forces to use and even Si Stebbins stack using Tarot cards.

My opinion is that if you own this material, and buying other material suggested in the manuscript you will have DYNAMITE Tarot card presentations.

I recommend this very highly.
