Time Will Tell by Unnamed Magician

In this e-book, I want to teach an incredibly powerful coincidence effect that is based on an idea by Charles Jordan. A card is fairly selected and lost, and then found in a highly unique way. For lay people, it doesn't get stronger than this; of all the effects that I've created, this generates the best reactions from lay audiences.

Imagine:

The magician introduces a deck of cards. He spreads it face-up to display that all the cards are different and in no particular order. He then hands the deck to the spectator as he says, "I want you to cut off about a third of the deck and give it a shuffle until you're satisfied the cards are mixed. Then, look at and remember the top card of the third. That will be your selection. After that, bury your selection by cutting about half of the remainder of the deck and dropping it on top of your card."

The spectator does as instructed. Once they're done, the magician invites them to give the combined packet of cards a few complete cuts to further lose their card. After that, they are asked to shuffle the remaining third and drop it on top of everything, thereby reassembling the deck.

At this point, the magician recaps and asks the spectator to check the time on their phone. Suppose the time is 6:22. The magician says, "If this were a typical card trick, at this point in the trick the magician would take the deck and find your card. But I'm not going to do that. In fact, I'm not going to find your card at all. The time will find your card. Since it's 6:22, deal 6 cards, followed by 22 cards."

The spectator deals 6 cards face down, followed by 22 more cards face down. They then name their selected card for the first time, after which they turn over the last dealt card ... and it is miraculously seen to be their card.

Note: You will learn another effect inside the PDF as well, which, in my opinion, is even stronger than the effect above. So there are two effects taught in the PDF.
