The effect:
A sealed deck is borrowed and opened in full view - every card in factory order. A spectator freely removes a card, looks at it, and replaces it wherever they like. Moments later it's sitting face up in a face-down spread. And when the deck is turned over, it's still in complete factory order, the chosen card back in the exact position it started from.
No force, no gimmick, no duplicates, no switches. The deck genuinely belongs to someone else. Just two natural moves and a strong premise about pushing a thought back where it came from.
