Levitation effects have always had a powerful impact on audiences. While these can certainly wow an audience when done on stage when they are performed right under the noses of the spectators the impact is only heightened. Few levitation effects can be performed as close to a spectator as the Okito Voodoo Doll. With these dolls, the magician does not need to consider lighting, proximity or even angles. Added to this the fact that it is a small, cheap and totally self-contained prop there is a lot to like about this effect. It is for all these reasons and more that the Okito Voodoo Doll has become one of my favourite effects.
One of the only problems I could find with the Okito Voodoo Doll was the lack of available routines or effects using it. So several years ago I started creating my own routines with the doll. In this ebook I have included 17 routines for it. While many of these are most suitable for the mystery performer there are also some lighter routines and even a routine that is for children. It also contains information on creating your own dolls and ways to make them appear and disappear.
