The method and effect are good, but nothing new. It is the presentation and funny tag lines that make this a five-star. You will actually want to perform this just as it is written. It is not hard to do, and very entertaining.

A great sit-down-at-the-table coin routine. Moves as sleights are explained and there are some pictures for extra understanding.

The pip and label idea is smart. This is easy to set up and perform. The problem is obtaining the bills from the bank. My bank apparently didn't have a stack available. Larry Becker uses the same idea. This would work great with Grant's Impossible Bill in lemon. They are both different. That way you can perform both on different days at the same location (restaurant) with same customers present without being exposed so easily. Learn million dollar mystery and Dan Garrett's plastic cash updated version and you'll be set for life. Highly recommended.

Great routine! Very easy and some good comedic bits in there. In truth it's more akin to mental epic than confabulation. Nothing really new here just good techniques and methods from other put together in quite a commercial routine.

This always stays in my wallet. This always works. This always astonishes. There are many different ways to do Positive/Negative. This is my favorite, the one I use. Add a couple of rock-paper-scissors and "which hand" routines to it, and you could literally do an entire close-up set with pieces of paper and no prep. Sure, it's great and loads of fun to do Bank Night with clever props, use a brilliant gimmick like Xpert, or buy a slick commercial book test, but this is what mentalism is all about. It's the ability to do absolutely what you claim to do at a moment's notice. It will take a little practice to get the routine down smoothly, but that's also what mentalism is about--using acting skills and being quick on your feet. There's nothing more satisfying than when folks tell me, "I have absolutely no idea how you did that." I've performed this one more than just about anything else, and I always get that reaction. What blows them away is that they think they know how it's done, but when they try to backtrack it, they can't wrap their minds around the combination of two old principles, which if performed well, are disguised. Highest recommendation.

This work is quality produced clear photos straight to the point and love the personal side of the author who is very much in love with his faith, wife, and child. I only have his close up cups and balls until now maybe I should invest more and you too.

Disgruntled sigh. I really wish the description tells you there are additional purchases of items (a gimmick, and a small list of other things) without which you can't perform VOD -- not to mention a more-than-usual amount of prep work. I don't mind having to get more things than the actual effect/method contains, and I happen to enjoy more DIY effects -- but neglecting to tell the customer what is really required is bad form. Scott Guinn is a very clear teacher, he gives ample alternative methods along the way, and I love his light-hearted style of entertaining patter. I'm disappointed by sin of omission in the description.

I just got this e-book and it is a great routine. There are many instances of magic and a lot of opportunities for byplay with the audience. Scott gives you everything. He shares his patter, his jokes (guaranteed to get laughs AND groans!), and, best of all, he explains why you do each part of the effect the way you do. He also gives you options for different ways to perform the effect if you don't want to do it exactly like he does or don't have the utilities he recommends in his presentation. This routine definitely teaches you the Value of a Dollar!

Clear, concise, compact and effective. This routine is easily extended, or incorporated, into other set pieces. To appreciate the nice flow you need the props in hand as you run through each phase. Nice job Scott. This one will be used, and often.

I had been looking for a really good BIL routine & Scott's sounded good plus was affordable. He even offered to refund the first $1 if I didn't like it. His uses a sanada gimmick which I already had and I was ready to go. However, during practice, I was NOT very smooth with the sanada so I had to make a couple of changes. I make the $$$ switch in easier way for me & am never questioned about it. But Scott's lines & routine remain the same. It has raised my act to a higher, more "Magical" performance. Thanks Scott !!!!

Scott's routine is strong! It is commerical, powerful magic and the routine is designed to be a worker. If you are a working professional that wants a self contained act that packs small, plays big and resets instantly, then this is a routine you need to look at!
