A spectator cuts a shuffled deck and, with the first three cards he places on the table, creates an ACAAN, which, immediately afterward, miraculously occurs again.
Double Realy to ACAAN is a new card magic trick in which the magician, after showing and shuffling a deck of cards, hands it to a spectator who, after cutting and completing it one or more times as desired, places the top three cards face down on the table. The magician explains that the last two cards will yield a random number: by adding their values together (and subtracting 13 if necessary, should the sum be greater than 13), the value of a new card will be determined, and the spectator must place that many cards face-up in a stack on the table, to the right of the three cards. Then, when he turns over the first card, they'll take its suit, and the card's value will tell you exactly how many cards to count from the top of the remaining deck to magically find that "generated" card!
But someone might think it was just a lucky coincidence, so the experiment continues with the remaining deck, and incredibly, when the first three cards are turned over, the ACAAN repeats itself in exactly the same way a second time!
Strengths:
- It's a self-working effect
- A secret stack is used, and for the first time, a simple method for assembling it - starting with a "brand-new" deck - is demonstrated
- No card-handling technique is required; even a complete beginner (who knows the secret) will be able to perform the trick.
