Imaginary Card At Number Not Only Thought

A brand new and incredible (automatic) mentalism effect where the illusionist will manage to get a spectator to find a card that he has only thought of at the same own number!

After showing a deck of cards to the audience, he shuffles and cuts and completes. He then hands it to a spectator, who sits on the opposite side of the table, asking him to take it under the table so that no one can see it, and to cut it again, at any point, and complete. After that, once he has the deck back from under the table, the magician does the same thing, without being able to see the cards.

He then places it back on the table and asks the spectator to think of any card in the deck, starting with its value: from the Ace, which is worth 1 point, to the King, which is worth 13. Using an example, he explains that the spectator must then place the cards back under the table and secretly move that exact number of cards from the top to the bottom.

Without having any way of knowing the value of the card being thought of, even the mentalist will try to do the same thing secretly, while the spectator will decide whether to associate the color red or black with his card.

Once the deck has been brought back into view and the chosen color revealed, the magician cuts and completes, asking the spectator to think of the suit of his card and repeat once again, bringing the deck back under the table, moving the same number of cards as before, from the top to the bottom. He is promptly followed by the mentalist who, having received it back from under the table, attempts to do something similar. Once the cards are back in plain sight and the suit of the thought-of card has been revealed, after the magician has cut the deck, the spectator announces the value of his card to everyone, for the first time.

Counting from the top exactly to that number, he will turn over the right card!

Points of Strength:

  • Thanks to a unique secret stack, the result will be incredibly automatic.
  • No manipulation of the deck is necessary, just a few simple guidelines, which are explained in detail
