Ralf Rudolph was born on 5th August 1976 in Hannover. Since 1996 he does magic primarily stand-up and close-up. Since 2010 he is producing his impossible bottles and other impossible objects.
He has produced two DVDs (Bionic Coin and TSCTW) and many individual marketed effects.
Show an empty bottle (with or without contents) and borrow a coin. Wrap this coin in some paper and place it on the lid of the bottle. Take a lighter (can be borrowed) and light the paper. The coin visibly penetrates the lid of the bottle and lands inside the bottle. The bottle can be examined immediately and given away as a souvenir.

Rubber band and playing card permanently link.
A rubber band is linked to a previously selected and signed playing card. At the end, the corner of the card is torn off and given away as a souvenir with the rubber band inside.

With this specially gimmicked and prepared card, you are able to link it to a borrowed glass unnoticed in 3-5 seconds. The edges (which is very important for me) are completely intact and have no cracks. The card can be presented firmly linked to the glass as a souvenir.
What the video hides at the lower edge would normally be hidden behind a box, book, silk, or some other visual obstruction.

A new way to create an impossible souvenir. A card is selected. Show a small photo frame. Draw your prediction, which turns out to be wrong, but ... it turns into a correct one. The selected card rises out of the drawing. You can sign it and hand out the drawing as a souvenir, the frame, too if you want.
The construction of the gimmick requires arts and crafts. The clean-up, to get rid of the gimmick, uses a black art principle and thus requires a table with a black cloth or some other appropriate surface.

An interesting evolution of the classic "card to ceiling effect". Two cards are involved.
The first card appears on the ceiling as in the classic card to ceiling effect. A little later, a second card is selected from which a corner is torn off. This card is now suddenly on the ceiling where the first card was before. Alternatively, you could use a wall or a pane of glass.

A spectator signs a playing card which you link to the stem of a borrowed wine glass. The card can be moved while it is linked to the glass. Eventually it is unlinked. Both glass and card can be inspected by the spectator before and after the linking/unlinking sequence.

A playing card missing a corner melts through a window glass pane.
Once the card has melted through the glass the spectator can touch the glass. This method is very quick and cheap to make, about $1, and thus the name of the trick. Works with any glass pane that is not too thick.
[Note: The $1 cost statement assumes you have common supplies available when it comes to gaffing cards, such as double sided tape, invisible thread, etc. If you do not have these available then it will cost you more, because you will likely have to purchase more than you actually need for this one gimmick. A dollar bill is shown from both sides. Performer tears out two small rectangles from the inside of the bill. One of these rectangular tear-outs has its center removed to create a little frame, which is freely shown. Magician folds this little frame over the center beam of the larger bill frame and eventually the little frame clearly hangs from the center beam of the larger frame. How did it get on there?

A Card Warp effect that ends with an 'impossible' signed card with half turned face-out and the other half back-out.
Effect: A playing card is folded and then signed by a spectator. This folded and signed card is inserted between another folded card, just like in the classic Card Warp effect.
