You punch a hole thru the corner of two signed playing cards. You clearly show both sides of the playing cards and instantly link them together! But that's not enough. You tear off one corner and make it vanish only to appear inside of the signed playing card while the spectator holds the cards in his hands! The corner matches perfectly. Give the cards away as a Souvenir. They will find nothing. Perform it close up and stand up. The gimmick is easy to build.

Let someone choose a card, and then put the card back in the deck. The spectator himself can shuffle the cards, and then lay them on the ground, face down. You now claim to find the card, without your hands touching them. Now you step on the cards on the floor, and show the spectator a card, which is underneath your shoe. But It is not the card the spectator has chosen. But no problem. You step a second time on the floor, lift up your shoe, and now the card has turned into the one, chosen by the spectator!

Doch leider handelt es sich nicht um die vom Zuschauer gezogene Karte. Doch kein Problem. Ein zweites Mal stampfen Sie mit ihrem Fuß auf dem Boden und heben ihren Schuh erneut hoch....

You will learn the secret of how to get a golf ball inside a glass with an opening smaller than the golf ball, without harming either the glass or the ball. Ralf Rudolph is a master of the impossible object. He describes his method of how to make such an object. Once you know how it is done you can make as many presents as you wish. No special tools are necessary. No chemicals are used. With a bit of preparation and the know how you can make something cool.

[Note that the specific German brand of glass Ralf recommends has changed its dimensions and thus it can't be used anymore. The method itself is still valid, but you will have to experiment and search yourself for a suitable glass. Or use the improved method referenced above, which does not depend as much on the glass dimensions as this method does.]

A complete mental act with an impossible object!

You present a bottle with a full deck of cards inside. (You can hand out the bottle for examination). The spectator selects one of five playing cards (no force!). With the heritage from your grandpa you are able to reveal any selected card.

No slits! No thread! Take a borrowed Pad!

Borrow a paper pad (Post-it) and let the spectator sign the front page. After you draw the wrong card you add a few lines to make a box. Then the chosen card rises out of the drawn box. After that you rip of the signed paper and fold it (if you wish) and heat up with a lighter (you don't have to do this). When the spectator opens the paper, the card is gone. He could check the pad and keep all items as a souvenir! No threads, no slits! (like the first Version). If you follow the routine you end up clean. You can build the gimmick in a few minutes....

Make a card appear or change behind a window!

With WindowX you can make a card appear or change a card behind a window. You also can change the card in a sealed plastic bag that is attached and in full view behind the window. The spectator can remove the card or the bag himself (in most situations). The gimmick is very easy to make.

You can use many (but not all) windows. The trick is perfect to present in your living room or at a party with a little set up.

You may have seen something similar in a stage version from Martin Lewis. Ralf got his inspiration from Martin's effect and worked out a pocket version of it that uses a sticky note pad.

Effect: Draw a wrong prediction of a playing card on a sticky note pad. The chosen card rises out of the same picture. Give it away as an impossible souvenir.
