Some principles predate ideas rediscovered by Edward Marlo and Stewart James. (The ebook has been prepared by Paul Gordon.)
The writing of Joseph is somewhat terse and hard to read, but the effects and principles are great. This ebook includes some comments by Peter Duffie and Roger Crosthwaite.

- OPEN INTRUDER (Alex Elsmley): A FREELY selected card is the only one with a different colored back in the entire deck. A great variation of the classic Open Prediction theme.

$10 Sure GuessGerard Zitta [Note: This effect was already part of Mentalism games.
Effect: A spectator names any card, and you immediately produce it from your pocket.
Or: You write two cards on two business cards, put one in each pocket, and the spectator has to guess at least one of them. (It can be repeated right away if you want).
The method is 100% surefire and practical. There is no math, no probabilities, a little bit of memorization, but it is almost "intuitive". It is not difficult but needs a bit of rehearsal at the beginning, like for everything. It looks casual, completely impromptu, or even improvised, but you will have to do a onetime preparation with... ★★★★★ $9.99 Perfect BDay DivinationMike Kempner ... into her beautiful eyes, you will be able to extract her date of birth. You leave the spectator in utter shock because she has given you absolutely no clues or hints, whatsoever! There is no math, no gimmicks, no props, no assistant, no questions, no nothing! You simply reveal the information without asking for any information. Simply impossible!
[Note that this trick can only be performed on the street. You can't do this on the stage or in a traditional performance setting. Also you cannot do this trick anywhere (only works in the US at particular places) and on just anybody. Certain conditions have to exist. ]

Burmeister ★★★★★ $5 The Ultimate Page ForceDevin Knight How a page is forced during a book test is the most important part of the test. Unfortunately, most page forces are sadly lacking. Most appear contrived. Dice are rolled to determine page numbers, playing cards are used or math is used to determine a random number. This not what a real mind reader would do.
Other methods involve mis-calling numbers. If the audience realizes that the mentalist knows the page number, then the effect has dropped a few levels. Many people have read in books about secret cue lists and realize if the mentalist knows the page number, then he may have memorized the... ★★★★★ $12 Silent WordsUnknown Mentalist ...
