An incredible new "Any Card At Any Number" effect that magically comes to fruition, despite the fact that the card and a set of numbers are chosen by a spectator, in a carousel of cards turned face to face and back to back.
An A.C.A.A.N. that develops into a dance of cards, realizing itself on the edge of the impossible.
Twisting the AC...AAN is a new card magic effect themed "Any Card At Any Number," in which the magician, shown and quickly shuffled a deck of cards, holding the deck face-up in his right hand, begins to drop the cards into the palm of his left hand, performing a dribble and asking a spectator to halt him when she wants with a "Stop" of her own. Taking them from that exact point in the deck, he hands eight cards and asks her to shuffle them together and turn half of them face up on the table, drawing them from different places in the deck.
The values of these four cards will determine the total number of cards that she will take from the deck. These, too, will be shuffled as desired by the spectator, who will then raise that pack at any point, look, surreptitiously from the magician, at the bottom of the raised portion, show it to the audience and memorize it, eventually completing on the table her own cut. She will take the remaining cards from the deck and shuffle them just as well, placing the four previously used cards inside too. Then, she will place this second pack on the table, face down and superimpose on it the other part of the deck, containing the chosen card, dispersing it completely inside.
Through a free choice of the spectator, some groups of cards will then be flipped face to face and back to back. Finally the remaining four cards, left aside so far, will be revealed and also their values will be added together, to make up a random number. The magician will take the deck back into his hand and ask the audience, "How amazing would it be if, after exactly that random number of cards you just announced, we magically came up with the very card you chose?"
Which will promptly happen soon after, to the amazement and applause of the audience.
