A spectator chooses, through a special "elimination ritual", only four cards that will generate both a card and a number, which will magically be found in the deck.
A formidable semi-automatic card magic effect, themed "A.C.A.A.N.," or rather: "Card to Number," in which the magician, after quickly showing and shuffling the deck, explains that the whole world we know is characterized by Duality: Good and Evil, Light and Dark, Day and Night, Positive and Negative... We can also distinguish playing cards and numbers in the same way, and to demonstrate this, he begins by dealing out about twenty cards from the deck, alternating them between two piles. Since no great things are generated from order, to create a little chaos, a spectator is asked to lift a few cards from both piles and switch places with each other; then he will have to reassemble them into a single pack.
The illusionist draws four pairs of cards and begins a process of elimination, through which from the first two pairs he will draw a value and, from the last two, the suit of a card, generated by chance.
At that point, saying that the same thing happens with the numbers, he takes the deck again and deals more cards into two piles: when finished, similarly, the spectator will swap places some cards, taken from the top of both, then reassemble in the preferred order the two new packs. The magician will then take care to draw three pairs of cards, which the spectator will arrange in the order he prefers, to subsequently eliminate four cards from among them so that the sum of the values of the two remaining cards determines a precise number. Finally, the deck will be handed back to the spectator who, counting exactly that number of cards from the top, will magically find just the designated card!
