The Human EquationMarc PaulWhen this idea popped into my head I could not wait to try it out. I had a show the very next day and put this routine in. It was a storming success. You will not find any new methods here, although the principles in use are very well hidden. What you will find is a concept and presentation that I think is VERY special. Recently thoughts regarding my own act have turned to making the whole performance more of an experience for EVERYONE in the audience. Performers who use any Q&A routine know that one of the appeals of such a routine is that it is a "Macro" effect. In other words everyone... | ★★★★★ $18 to wish list

True LiesMarc PaulA Lie Detector Test that is extremely flexible and 100% accurate. The performer borrows 6 business cards from a spectator or, of course, he can use his own. He clearly writes the word "TRUTH" on three of them and the word "LIE" on the remaining three. A spectator is asked to mix them up so that no one knows which cards are which. Keeping the cards face down at all times the spectator now uses the pen to place an "X" on the face of the unknown bottom card. They do this without looking at the card. They then mix the cards again. The Spectator places the cards face down on the table and six... | ★★★★★ $18 to wish list

Devil's IslandMark LeveridgeThis lightweight mental effect is suitable for close up, parlor or even stage and is very simple to do. A map is shown which has six named locations marked on it. A spectator mentally selects one and records his choice on a small card which is concealed in an envelope. Cards bearing the names of the six locations are shuffled by a spectator and placed by him entirely at random into six envelopes which are then given out to audience members. Despite all this, a prediction shown at the start leads to the correct person holding the envelope which contains the spectator's chosen island location. ... | ★★★★★ $10 to wish list
Perfect IntuitionMark LeveridgeThe performer selects a lady with the object of discovering whether she has female intuition or not. Spreading a pile of envelopes, each one of which contains a double blank card, he invites her to select any one and to remove the card from inside. The lady helper now nominates and names any person around the table who she is emotionally close to or with whom she feels she has some empathy. It could be a relative, a close friend or maybe even her husband! Let's say she selects a close friend called Sophie. She writes the name of her chosen person, Sophie, on the back of her chosen blank... | $14 to wish listPDF & MP4
Four-midable Mental MysteriesMark LeveridgePsychic Selection - a parlour routine in which a spectator cuts to a card that he has in his mind A pack of cards is shuffled by a spectator, replaced in its box to prevent it from being tampered with, and then handed back to the spectator for safekeeping. An important member of the audience is then invited on stage. This person could be a principal guest at a party, the function organiser, or a CEO/owner/director at a business event. The performer explains that before the show he approached this spectator and invited him to decide on a card, any one of the 52. He asks the volunteer... | $16 to wish list
Colour KeyMark LeveridgeFour double-blank cards are displayed. One is placed in view to one side while the other three are arranged in a column on the table. Four keys are shown, there being one each of red, blue, green and silver. A spectator selects one of the keys (let's say the green one) and it is dropped on top of the blank card just placed to one side. The other three keys are slipped into envelopes which are mixed by a spectator before being placed down next to the blank cards in the order they were mixed into. The performer makes a magical gesture over the cards and on turning them over they are seen... | $10 to wish listMP4 (video)
Six AppealMark LeveridgeAn envelope is shown and a single card removed from inside, but not shown. The envelope is otherwise empty. This card is a prediction and is replaced into the envelope and left in view. Six Jumbo cards are freely and openly displayed and various spectators are asked to choose any of the cards to eliminate until just one is left. Despite the fact that there is genuinely no force or selection control, the prediction card exactly matches the randomly arrived at selection. This direct effect is ideal for a close-up or parlor show.

ESP Match Up PlusMark LeveridgeTwo sets of five ESP cards are freely displayed, one set with red backs, the other with blue. The red set is given to the spectator who shuffles them, the magician mixing the blue set. One at a time the performer places his cards face down onto the table and each time the spectator then places one of his cards at random next to the performer's. When the pairs of cards are turned face up, all five sets are seen to have been put down in matching pairs! This is a streamlined version of my card matching routine which has extra subtleties and a cleaner handling than earlier versions.

Credit TransferMark LeveridgeTwo for the price of one here as with Credit Transfer you get a mental effect and a piece of magic together. A borrowed credit card is slipped into a small envelope. Two paperback books are shown and the pages are riffled of one of the books until a spectator calls 'stop'. The credit card in the envelope is dropped into the book to mark the place. The second book is now opened to reveal an envelope is already inside it, and the page it rests on turns out to match the page just selected in the first book. Then the credit card vanishes from the envelope in the first book and arrives inside the... | $10 to wish listMP4 (video)
