 I would classify myself as a theorist in the various areas of card cheating and game table deception. My background is engineering for which I hold a doctorate as well as a masters and a bachelors degree, all from UK universities. My main interests are in the use of card manipulation techniques and gaffs to gain an advantage in the game of Texas Hold'em. Invented Three Card Catch. Frequent competitor and prize winner, including 1975 MZvD 3rd prize in closeup, 1978 MZvD 2nd prize for invention, 1982 MZvD Writer of the Year, and 1983 Baden-Baden 3rd prize in closeup.
Wrote Falsch-Zähl-Methoden (1972), Gilbreath Prinzipien (1982), Phantomwürfel (1982), Riesen-karten (3 parts, 1983, 1984, 1986). Wrote several major research monographs including: Ambitious Cards (1977), Erklärt 251 englische Fachausdrücke...  Ralph Felder, a self-taught juggler and magician hobbyist, worked in management for 34 years in the telecommunications industry in the New Orleans area. He retired from AT&T in 2007 and moved full time to Hot
Springs Village, Arkansas in 2010. In 1966, he completed studies in mathematics and chemistry at
Lamar State College of Technology (now Lamar University). He also has an MBA from Tulane University. While employed for BellSouth (now AT&T), he earned the American Society for Quality Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification in 1997.

Betram Ernest Adams was an American inventor, engineer, photographer, and magician. He lived in Brookline, MA, and graduated from MIT in 1915. He served as president of the Society of American Magicians in 1932 and 1933. In magic, he is most known for his Adamathica card trick (1921), which is an application of Gergonne's Pile Problem. Adams sold a part of his library relating to magic (600 volumes) to the Boston Public Library.
Adams billed himself as "New England's busiest magician." His trick called "The Krazy Kode" can be found in the April 1937 issue of Jinx (#31).
