This fifth issue of volume 2 of The Gimmick MagiZette is one more miscellanea of magical omnium-gatherum contributed by eminent artistes of the art of magic...
- Let's have a chat – Here the editor opens his heart and talks whatever he has to say … not even realizing that he possibly evokes boredom!
- Past Glory of India - L. K.Roy features in this issue a neglected and vanquished Magician K. D. Mukhuty.
- Magic as Entertainment – an article by late Harold Taylor of U.K. is a section from his book Magic as Entertainment based on his experiences.
- Chetoric – is about Doug Henning by long absent from TGM not magic scene Grandpa Chet.
- Did you know that ... 13 mystic facts about magical personality PAVEL - interesting.
- Alphanumeric Magicians Puzzle with answers by inventor Alan Bostock
- Magixposed - exposes all sorts of magic for the doers….
- A Juvenile Oracle is a miracle covered with humor from the fertile brain of Sam Dalal.
- More On and off - a follow-up on Ring and Rope magic published earlier in TGM is from none other than our FABIAN.
- Magic of India - Three faces of India's Creative-magic brains - unfortunately no more in this mundane world have catered the GEMS - P. K. Illango paid A Tribute to Nelson Downs, Gautam Guha came up with a novel Card Fan Production, and Someeran's The Magical Operation - is an updated amusing version of almost classic Clippo are all show-stopper!
- Rope Rhapsody-- by Aldo Colombini is in fact twin miracles with rope - well eat the pudding and judge the quality.
- The Fishy Cat is the first magic effect that Solyl Kundu had created - a cute packet card effect but requires no playing cards.
- News and Views around the Magicdom as usual gives you some idea what is happening in this part of the world.
Briefly, it is an issue you will not afford to miss!

★★★★★ Date Added: Monday 13 May, 2013The Gimmick MagiZette is an amazing bargain. Not only is there some great magic to be learned in every issue, it also provides a fascinating peek into the world of magic in India, both currently and historically. It also is quite entertaining, sometimes unintentionally so due to difficulties in translation. (I'm actually hoping the translation doesn't improve - the peculiar word choices are half the fun!) You wont be dissapointed. A great value.
