Camirand Academy presents: Metal Bending: The Real Work with Patrik Kuffs. A groundbreaking project (or as some call it "a controversy") that stirred up the magic/mentalism world in 1999. Originally available on VHS, then reissued on DVD and quickly sold out (two reeditions), it is now reissued in official digital format, providing access to a new generation of mind bending enthusiasts.
The quality of the video is not perfect (well, it was shot last century) and Kuffs's English was somewhat creative/approximative at the time. (He's a French Québécois after all.) But you'll find the energy and enthusiasm infused to be dynamic and captivating. Kuffs' considers most of the material as only HIS "interpretation" and/or "personal handling", like: the "twirl" bending and a fork-tine bending idea originally created by the now-famous mentalist Banachek. Many other basic techniques are explained; one-handed bending, two-handed bending, table bending, leg/forearm bending, reversal bending, thrown bending and more.
This "crash course" in techniques is for practitioners looking to expand their existing repertoire. It does not concentrate on the deeper aspects of the illusion but is aimed at students who already have a good knowledge and understanding of the
psychological aspect of the genre.
If you're ready to take the plunge into the world of metal bending or want to see what all the buzz was about, you'll enjoy this great voyage into the past. This new digital reedition lasts around 28 minutes. Enjoy this anytime, anywhere set of rare specialized tools for only $9.99.
