GagsterismsAliAn ebook of visual gags and other fun bits.
There are many types of comedy. Visual, verbal, straight, burlesque and pantomimic are but a few, and numerous off-shoots spring from them. Best of all, by far, is the visual gag. This has no language barriers and can be understood by young and old alike.
There was the classic visual gag of the famous musical clown, Grock. He would sit down at a grand piano, only to find the stool was too far away for him to reach the keys. To remedy this, he would rise from the stool, go to the other end of the piano, and laboriously start to push the heavy... | $15 to wish listPDF |

Card Magic by ManipulationLewis GansonExcerpt from the introduction:
By much trial and error, made during odd hours over several years, a system for producing fans of cards has been built up gradually—not based on an entirely new principle but consisting of a sequence of moves in which many of the good points of other methods have been gathered together whilst faults have been avoided.
A complete description of my card routine, in which the continuous production of fans of cards forms part, will be given in this book, but before commencing there are certain aspects of the sleight usually known as the “back and front”... | ★★★★★ $10 to wish listPDF |

Thrilling MagicLeonard H. MillerFrom author's note:
The feats of miracle workers - fire eaters, sword swallowers, barehand spike drivers, etc. - have been proclaimed far and wide, but little has been written in explanation of their feats or otherwise detailing the secrets of performance. These secrets have been jealously guarded by the practitioners of these miracles and they have seen fit to pass them on to only a limited few.
Please note that these stunts are dangerous and involve toxic and otherwise harmful substances. We are offering this ebook for historical and informational purposes. Anybody who experiments with... | ★★★★★ $10 to wish listPDF |

Connoisseurs' Coins ThroughSupreme-Magic-CompanyConnoisseurs' Coins Through ... a definitive routine, one of the finest ever for the coins through table. The work of Vernon, Slydini and a host of others combined to give the easiest handling with the maximum effect.
In this routine several coins pass repeatedly through the table. You begin with six coins. Three of the coins pass through the table top two times. Then you eliminate two coins and repeat the penetration through the table with four coins. Again, you eliminate two coins and repeat the trick with two coins. At the end you eliminate another coin and repeat the penetration a last... | ★★★★★ $6 to wish listPDF |

Unique "Thought Card" DiscoveryHoward P. AlbrightYou reveal a freely thought card.
EFFECT: Spectator freely selects several cards from his own shuffled deck and thinks of one. Those are returned and mixed in the pack. By means of "tuned thought-waves" the performer discovers the very card spectator is thinking of and, either names it dramatically, or causes it to obey his command in a distinctly "unique" manner. A real mental mystery.
Remember:
- No advance preparation
- The card is really only thought
- Free choice without any force
- Cards can be borrowed
- Very subtle method…you will love it.

Cut and Restored SilkPhoa Yan TiongPhoa Yan Tiong performed this clever effect in his cabaret act and it never fails to produce a gasp of amazement.
Effect: A handkerchief becomes visibly restored after being cut in half and the halves held well apart to prove that no trickery is involved. Indeed there is no trickery in the cutting, for both halves are quite separate. The effect has proved a great hit also, in the act of Will Ayling who used a regular linen handkerchief for its performance.
Phoa used to demonstrate and explain a version of this trick in the lecture he gave to Magical Societies and at Conventions, but the method he... | ★★★★★ $6 to wish listPDF |
