California Gang KnivesRaymonde Crow![]() California Gang Knives, Raymonde Crowe's routine for the color-changing knives, includes two new sleights. The routine includes a comedy presentation, bonus comedy lines, and ends strong when a knife magically shrinks into a miniature knife. At the finale you are automatically reset. California Gang Knives can be performed in short sleeves and jeans. My aim in this routine was to move beyond repetitive color changes, and over-reliance on the paddle/turnover move, and to conclude the routine strongly. I also wanted to move beyond just describing black and white knives changing places, but... | ★★★★★ $5 to wish listPDF & MP4

Calling the CardsRoberto Giobbi![]() Live from the European Close-up Magic Symposium 2012. This is a wonderful sleight-less classic card routine that Giobbi has polished to a fine sheen with added psychological subtleties and a logical and meaningful presentation. A brand new deck of cards, still wrapped in cellophane and sealed, is shuffled by different spectators. 10 cards are selected by a spectator. Roberto then divines each card without touching anything. The last card is revealed with a prediction and a duplicate of the last card is also found in the prediction envelope.

CapsoulDeepak Mishra![]() Turn a cap into a magic prop and have cards appear and change. For example, you can use it for a kind of 'card stabbing' routine where you spring the cards and catch one card in your cap. Or have one card visually change into another. To make the gimmicks requires some arts and crafts, but nothing too complicated and no supplies you wouldn't likely already have. The separate effects are:
Not all gimmicks can be incorporated into the same cap and thus not all effects shown could be done with just one cap. Deepak also explains a lovely linking effect... | $19.95 to wish listMP4 (video)
Card Corner in PhoneRalf (Fairmagic) Rudolph![]() Effect: The performer shows a video that displays various card values. A spectator mentally selects one, then mentally tears off a corner of the selected card, and that card corner appears in the phone. To perform this effect all you need is a phone that can play back an MP4 video. This is not an app and can therefore be performed on pretty much any modern smart phone. Please note that in most cases the card corner will appear in the video that is played back. In some cases the card corner will materialize as actual card corner. 1st edition 2019, length 7:41 | $8 to wish listMP4 (video)
Card GuillotineMario Tarasini![]() The Card Guillotine is one of the most visual, mysterious and interesting card tricks. Mario Tarasini has brought it back to life. This is a new method that, when applied, can make the trick even more interesting and can fool any magician. The trick can also be performed with the spectators finger. Requires arts and crafts to make the gimmick.

Card in WalletAllan Ackerman![]() The 'card to wallet' effect is one of those all-time classic magic effects. It is probably the best application for palming. A spectator freely selects a card, signs it, shuffles the pack, and magically the chosen and signed card ends up in a zippered compartment in your wallet.

Card MontePeter Pellikaan![]() Show four ten-spot cards all with red backs. Showing them again reveals a four of Spades with a big black dot on its face. Then there are several four of Spades with a big black dot. Suddenly a card has a different back but also a huge hole cut in the middle. When this card is turned face-up it reveals yet a different card. It is madness. Best to watch the demo video.

Card on CapRalf (Fairmagic) Rudolph![]() Have a spectator select a card (for one version it is a free choice, for a second version it has to be forced), have it signed, apparently loose it in the deck, and then you either spring the cards onto your baseball cap, or fan the cards before the cap and the previously selected card will appear to be attached to the top knob of your baseball cap. Ralf explains how you have to gimmick the cap, and he will demonstrate several ideas and handlings of how you can perform this routine. 1st edition 2019, length 30 min. | $6 to wish listMP4 (video)

Card to Paper WalletHans Trixer & Wolfgang Riebe![]() There are so many versions of the Card in Wallet - yet none as unique as this one. A freely signed and selected card appears in a paper wallet that happens to be a sheet of paper openly folded into the shape of a wallet right in front of the spectator. Forget leather wallets. Forget trick wallets. No duplicates, just plain powerful magic with a regular deck and a sheet of A4/US-letter paper that is folded into a wallet. The 'simplicity' of the wallet and the fact that the spectator checks everything themselves makes this effect mind-blowing. Original concept by Hans Trixer and developed... | $15 to wish listMP4 (video)
Card Under DrinkAllan Ackerman![]() The 'card under drink' plot was made famous by Heba Haba Al (Al Andrucci) in the 1960s. Ever since it has been a favorite of bar magicians all over the world. Cards AcrossAllan Ackerman![]() This is a routine Allan Ackerman developed in the early 1970s where he tried to achieve the cards across effect with as little motion as possible. He also added a visual card vanish. Later Paul Harris took this routine and turned it into his famous Sleeper routine. A spectator picks a card. A second spectator cuts off a small portion of the deck, counts the cards, and puts the counted cards in a safe place. The performer then attempts to magically add as many cards to the second spectator's pack as the value of the card the first spectator chose.

Cards to Card CaseTommy Wonder![]() This is a beautifully motivated opening effect for a card manipulation act. A deck of cards is introduced. The cards are taken out of the case. The cards and the case magically switch places several times. Besides the clever gimmick it is really a lesson in how to motivate the various effects in the performance. Wonder demonstrates how this effect of a deck of cards switching place with its case can be turned into a wonderfully motivated episode rather than an unmotivated series of effects. Wonder finds a good reason for every sequence that turns a simple trick into a story and thus beautiful... | ★★★★★ $5 to wish listMP4 (video)
Cards to SlimfastCarl Cloutier![]() Watch and learn the routine that won Carl the F.I.S.M. World Championship. Four signed cards completely vanish. Three of them reappear inside three different pockets. The fourth selection reappears in your sock! All four cards then vanish again, only to make their reappearance inside a sealed can of Slimfast, opened by the spectator. The methods of how to get cards in your pockets, a card in your sock and how to load cards into a closed can holding some type of powder are easily applicable in many other situations. The routine uses palming and sleeving, however Cloutier demonstrates how... | ★★★★★ $6 to wish listMP4 (video)
