Card College Lighter

Roberto Giobbi
Card College Lighter by Roberto Giobbi...

How can one construct a piece of card magic to assure it is interesting and fascinating to an audience? How can one interact with the audience instead of just talking "at" them? These concepts have nothing to do with methods, but they can turn a mathematical trick into a rare experience of impressive and...

John Ramsay's Routine with Cups and Balls

Victor Farelli
John Ramsay's Routine with Cups and Balls by Victor Farelli...
of Johnnie Ramsay. His sleight of hand is unexcelled, perhaps even unequalled. Performers who know all there is to know about the Cups and Balls are not merely puzzled, but utterly baffled by Ramsay's presentation. His Cap and Pence is a masterpiece of artistry.... It is not that he is always "one ahead": he must generally be half-a-dozen ahead.... His misdirection is perfect. Every action is perfectly natural and fully accounted for... If it be true that art consists in the concealment of art, then John Ramsay is the finest magical artist that we have seen...." - ABRACADABRA (30th March,...

Impossible Card Flights

Devin Knight
Impossible Card Flights by Devin Knight... comes forward (not a stooge) and selects a card from a deck of cards. The spectator tears off a corner and retains it, once he has torn it off. The corner is never given to magician. The spectator keeps it once he tears it off. There is no switch of the corner, the corner he keeps is the same one he tore off, believe it or not. The performer shows a note he printed beforehand. These are instructions telling his past self to mail this card to the president of the club and to call him and tell him not to open the envelope until the future show date.

The performer takes the selected card...
